The first time I visited Harvest Moon Winery, I really enjoyed the unpretentious atmosphere of the tasting room and the individual character of the wines.
This positive impression was reinforced after talking to the Harvest Moon winemaker. This man has a passion for Zinfandel, and wants to make Zins that have intense flavors
without being overpowering. He definitely succeded in making fragrant and food-friendly Zinfandels.

Wines Offered: The winery offers an interesting selection of Zinfandels from the Russian River Valley,
a dry Gewurztraminer, and a dessert wine. The price range is from $18.00-$36.00
Marc's selection:
- Zinfandel, Russian River Valley: Really interesting Zin, with some raspberries and spicy notes on the nose, and a tart, crisp finish that is welcome and rare in modern Zinfandel wines. Great with food!
